The Journal of Multidisciplinary and Social Studies (JMSS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes research at the intersection of social innovation, cultural dynamics, environmental justice, health policy, and societal change. JMSS provides a platform for interdisciplinary studies that explore how public policies, social structures, and community-driven initiatives shape societal well-being and development. Published three times a year, JMSS encourages the submission of original research that bridges theory and practice across diverse fields.

Scope of JMSS:

1. Social Innovation and Community Development

This section covers research on social innovation contributing to community empowerment, social development, and economic upliftment, including initiatives rooted in local wisdom and collaborative efforts between sectors.

2. Cultural Studies and Identity Politics

Research on cultural identity, ethnic and racial relations, and the role of popular culture in shaping social dynamics, with a focus on identity politics, gender representation, and related public policies.

3. Sustainability and Environmental Justice

Focuses on environmental justice, sustainability, and climate change impacts on vulnerable communities, including policies that promote social justice and sustainable development.

4. Health, Wellbeing, and Social Policy

Examines the intersection of health policies, social welfare, and public health, with a focus on healthcare access, health inequality, and community-based health interventions.

5. Globalization, Migration, and Social Change

Investigates the impact of globalization on migration, social integration, and inequality, as well as the adaptive strategies of governments and societies in response to social transformations.

6. Education and Social Development

Research on the role of education in fostering social mobility and development, inclusive education, and the effects of education policies on societal well-being and poverty reduction.

7. Social Engineering and Policy Implementation

This section focuses on social engineering techniques, social interventions, and data-driven policy design to influence societal behavior and implement more effective public policies.

JMSS welcomes submissions from scholars and practitioners seeking to advance knowledge across disciplines and contribute to the development of more inclusive and sustainable societies. All submissions must be made through the journal’s online system.

If the submitted manuscript does not adhere to the guidelines or uses a different format, it will be rejected before being reviewed by the editorial staff. The editorial staff will only accept a manuscript that adheres to the formatting specifications.

JMSS is an open-access journal and adheres to a rigorous peer-review process. All submissions must be made through the JMSS online submission system, and we do not accept submissions via email.
